WHY THE SEA IS SALT
A collaborative performance with Margot St-Finch of an old fairytale about greed. The story is told through voice, several invented acoustic drone instruments based on the technology of a hurdy-gurdy, tenor banjo, mandolin, mandola, bass drum, iron ladles made for pouring glass, and a metronome. Written and scored in January 2026, performed at AS220 in Providence RI in February 2026. Run time approximately 45 minutes.
